I AM COMING SOON

INTRODUCTION

This short book will explain the most important aspects of the Bible, it is perfect for teaching a new Christian about their faith, and helping them understand what the Bible teaches as a whole. This book will answer important questions like who is Satan? does Satan control the world? It will explain who Jesus Christ really is, and what proves that He is the son of God? This book will explain specific end time events foretold in Bible prophecy, it will also give you important details about the second coming of Jesus Christ, this book will use the Bible to explain the true Christian religion and coming kingdom of God.

THE WORLD SYSTEM

Look around at the world you live in, what sort of conditions do you see? Every time you turn on the news all you hear of is wars, death, and tragedy. Human beings have become experts at sinning against each other. Everyday living now revolves around money and greed, and it seems like people care less and less about each other. Love for our fellow man has turned into hate and distain. What system would allow such behaviour to exist? A system where dishonest politicians and hypocritical religious leaders run wild. The very people you trust to protect, guide and give you justice, lie and deceive you while bringing you outrageous living costs, increasing taxes, fear and endless wars.

WHO CONTROLS THIS SYSTEM

The answer to this question is easy to figure out, but very hard to accept. The truth is that Satan (the Devil) is the ruler of this world. How can we be sure? The Holy Bible states many times that Satan is currently ruling this world system. It says in the book of (Ephesians 2:2) Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.

An account of Satan trying to tempt Jesus Christ, is recorded in the book of (Luke 4:5-8) And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

This confirms that Satan is now ruling the world. If this was not so, how could the Devil have offered the kingdoms of the world to Jesus?

WHO IS SATAN?

The one who is know as Satan, which means ‘adversary’, was created by God to be a mighty angelic servant. (Ezekiel 28:13-18). However as with all God’s intelligent creations, God blessed him with free will. The Devil abused his power and the freedom that God gave him, and now Satan desires to be worshipped in place of God. Satan’s greatest act of rebellion against God, was when he enticed God’s first human creations, Adam and Eve, into listening to him rather than God. The result of this was that man was driven out of the Garden of Eden (paradise without suffering, pain or death) into the world of sin and death that we now live in.

This account is recorded in the first book of the Bible (Genesis 3:1-7) Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened…

We now know that Satan is God’s adversary and a deceiver of man. He is the original cause of evil and the father of all lies (John 8:44). Satan hates God and he hates mankind because we are created in God’s image. It is the Devil’s mission to deceive mankind into worshiping him, by any means possible. The Devil wants to stop mankind from becoming children of God, and obtaining eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. Satan is attempting to fool mankind into rejecting Jesus Christ as the world’s saviour, by using his control over the world and his powers of deception.

Although it is not definitively stated in the Bible, how Satan became the ruler of this world system, the Bible clearly confirms that he is. It is important to remember that God created Satan, it is also important to understand that even though Satan is currently ruling this world, God is more powerful than Satan. God created Satan and God can destroy him at any time. God allows Satan to exist and rule this world because even in his rebellion, Satan serves the purpose of God. For example: The Bible teaches that God will allow the people who reject salvation, through faith in Jesus Christ to be deceived, and lied to by Satan as punishment for rejecting the truth of Christ Jesus.

(2 Thessalonians 2:11-12) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Another important reason that God allows Satan to exist and to rule this world, is because the existence of Satan forces people to make a choice. At some point in every person’s life, they must choose to either have faith in Jesus Christ and the Bible, or to follow one of the many paths of Satan. God will reward the people who choose to believe in Jesus, and God will punish those who reject Jesus by casting them into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:12-15). So to answer the question, who is Satan? It can be said that Satan is a rebellious creation of God that is currently ruling this world. His mission is to be worshipped by the people of this world, and to separate mankind from the love of Jesus. Satan is the adversary of God and mankind, and he will eventually be destroyed by the Almighty God.

HOW DO WE KNOW THAT SATAN WILL BE DESTROYED?

The Bible teaches that Satan will be destroyed forever. (Revelation 20:10) And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

IS THE WORLD COMING TO AN END?

Many times throughout history people have made predictions of the end of the world, and all have been wrong. Jesus Himself stated that only God knows when this world will end. (Matthew 24:36) But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Although only God knows the exact time of the end, we can know for sure that the end of this world will certainly come. The Bible records Jesus telling His disciples about the end of the world, and the events that lead up to it.

(Matthew 24:3-14) And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

WILL ANYONE SURVIVE?

The Bible tells us the answer to this question, and the answer is yes! The book of Revelation, which was written by the Prophet John under inspiration of the Holy Spirit, describes a vision of people who will survive the end of the world. The Bible teaches, that before Jesus returns to overthrow Satan’s kingdom on this earth, God’s people will be taken up to heaven (Raptured) by angels and saved from the end of the world, and the wrath of God.

(Revelation 7:9-10) After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

(Revelation 7:13-14) And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

This is just one example from the Bible that teaches people will survive the end of this world, this event is also described in (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). God gave man the Bible to warn us of the end, and to prepare us for these hard times. The Bible was also given so mankind could know Jesus, be saved and enter into God’s kingdom.

WHAT IS GOD'S KINGDOM?

God’s kingdom is the dwelling place of God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. There are two aspects of God’s kingdom, a physical aspect and a spiritual one. The spiritual aspect of God’s kingdom, consists of all of the people who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord, and have received the Holy Spirit, as the guarantee of their inheritance of the physical Kingdom of God (Ephesians 1:4-14). The physical kingdom of God is at this present time in heaven. However the Bible teaches, that Jesus Christ will one day return, to overthrow the rulership of Satan and establish God’s kingdom on earth, where He (Jesus Christ) will be the King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Revelation 11:15). So to answer the question what is God’s kingdom? It can be said that Christians (those who accept Christ as King) are God’s kingdom. We are spiritually God’s kingdom because the Holy Spirit lives inside us and we are the temple of God on earth (2 Corinthians 6:16). As the spiritual aspect of God’s kingdom, Christians are awaiting the physical coming of God’s kingdom, which will appear shortly after the time of the second coming of Jesus Christ. The second coming of Jesus Christ is the most important event of human history because it will establish God’s physical kingdom on earth, and this kingdom will last forever (Daniel 2:44). The only way for a person to enter into God’s kingdom, is for that person to accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ through faith. (For more detailed information about the Gospel see our video WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED).

WHO IS JESUS CHRIST?

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Jesus is not a created being but was literally God in the flesh. Jesus is eternal and Almighty. (John 1:1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

(John 1:14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

WHY DID JESUS COME TO EARTH?

Jesus came to earth for several reasons, the first reason was to be a perfect example for mankind to follow. Jesus did this through His teaching, and by living as a perfectly righteous man who never sinned. Another reason Jesus came to earth, was to teach people about the love of God, and the coming of God’s physical kingdom. However the most important reason for Christ’s first coming, was to give His life as a sacrifice for mankind. Jesus died for our sins which opened the way to eternal life for all those who believe in Him.

(John 3:16-17) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

The life of Jesus Christ is recorded in the Bible and can be found in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, these books are the four Gospels of Jesus Christ.

THE SON OF GOD

Throughout His life Jesus performed many miracles and signs to show the people His divinity. Many had faith in these signs and believed in Him, but some did not, and even actively worked to have Jesus killed. The records of miracles performed by Christ Jesus in the Gospels are so numerous, that a whole book would be needed to list them, however here is a good example of the power, and authority of Jesus Christ.

(Luke 5:18-26) And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him. And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee. And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts? Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house. And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.

This miracle is profound, as were all the miracles performed by Jesus Christ. However the most convincing evidence we have that proves Jesus was the Son of God, is His resurrection from the dead. In short the Bible describes Jesus being murdered, and His body being placed in a tomb, then three days later, His body being missing from that tomb.

(Luke 24:1-3) Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

The Bible tells us that shortly after His resurrection, Jesus appeared many times to His friends and others, showing them that He was alive, which fulfilled prophecy and proved that He is the eternal Son of God. This is recorded in the book of (Luke 24:36-39). Finally Jesus took His friends to the Mount of Olives, where they witnessed His return to heaven.

(Luke 24:50-51) And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.

SATAN'S LAST STAND

(Matthew 24:21) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

As you already know, Satan is currently ruling this wold system, and his control over it, will one day come to an end. We know that Satan is an evil entity that deceives people and craves worship that rightfully belongs to God. God’s physical kingdom will one day come to this earth, with Christ as King. At this time Satan will be defeated, and his rulership over the earth will be no more. The Bible tells us, that Satan will be imprisoned for one thousand years before he is finally destroyed forever.

(Revelation 20:1-2) And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years…

This event, and the time leading up to it, will effect the lives of every person on this earth more than any other time in the history of man. The time leading up to the second coming of Christ, will be Satan’s last stand and before he is destroyed, Satan will attempt to deceive the world one last time.

The Bible warns us in (1 Peter 5:8-9) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

The only way to resist Satan, is to submit yourself to God by accepting Jesus as your saviour. The only other thing you can do, is read the Bible, and arm ourselves with the knowledge that it contains. The Bible warns us of the tactics used by Satan to deceive man throughout history. The Bible also details the tactics that Satan will use to deceive the world during the his last stand, and the events that take place as a result. The next chapter of this book will explain these events.

(James 4:7) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

DON'T BE DECEIVED

As we know, Satan is a master deceiver, and he will use any tactic to deceive people into worshiping him. Those who worship the Devil are separated from God, and Satan’s last stand will deceive everyone who has not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. The Bible tells us that in the end times, Satan will cause the world to be full of violence, lawlessness, and conflict between nations. As a result there will be earthquakes, famine and a global persecution of Christians. The Bible warns us of these signs so we will know that the return of Christ is near, and so we can recognise the beast system and its leaders.

THE BEAST SYSTEM

The Bible teaches that before Christ returns to overthrow Satan, the world will be ruled by a world government. This world government will dominate every aspect of human life through technology, and it will be like nothing ever seen before. The Bible says that the leaders of this beast system worship Satan, and that they get their power and authority from him. (Revelation 13:4) And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast...

This beast system will be a political and military power unlike any before it. This system will eventually be ruled by ten kings, who will hand over their control of the global government, to a world dictator that the Bible calls the first beast (Revelation 17:12-13).

THE FIRST BEAST

The first beast is described as an extraordinary political/military leader, known to Christians as the Antichrist. The first beast, through his military and political influence, will ascend to power and eventually rule the whole world, and control the beast system. The Antichrist is a counterfeit Messiah, and will literally be the Son of Satan.

(For more information see KING OF THE NORTH and REX-84 F.E.M.A IN BIBLE PROPHECY.

THE SECOND BEAST

The second beast is described as a powerful world religious leader that the Bible calls the False Prophet (Revelation 19:20). This religious leader, will use his influence over religion and world politics, to establish a one world religious system, that will worship the Antichrist in place of Jesus. The second beast will perform false miracles and cause people to buy and sell, using a global monetary system that the Bible calls, the mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16-17). (For more information about the second beast see our article JESUITS). This publication will now give a brief outline of the events leading up to the second coming of Jesus Christ.

END TIME EVENTS

1. The Antichrist will appear on the world stage

(Revelation 6:2) And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

2. War, Famines and earthquakes.

(Matthew 24:7) and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom...

3. Disease epidemics.

(Revelation 6:8) And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

4. Rise of the ten kings and the Antichrist.

(Revelation 13:1) And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

5. Rise of false religious leader and one world religion.

(Revelation 13:11-13) And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

6. Israel will be the seat of power for the Antichrist and global religion.

(Luke 21:20) And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

7. The abomination of desolation.

(Matthew 24:15) When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whoso readeth, let him understand:) (See Revelation 13:13-15).

8. The mark of the beast.

(Revelation 13:16-17) And he (The false religious leader) causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

9. The global murder and persecution of Christians who refuse the mark of the beast.

(Matthew 24:21-22) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

10. The second coming of Jesus Christ.

(Matthew 24:29-30) Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

When this day comes and Jesus makes His return as King of kings, it will be a great day for those who truly know and have faith in the Lord Jesus. Only those who have accepted Christ will be saved and live forever in the physical Kingdom of God.

(Romans 6:23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

BELIEVE IN JESUS

If you believe that Jesus is the Son of God and you accept His death as payment for your sins, you will receive eternal life (John 3:16-18). God has a plan to save you and that plan is faith in His Son. If you believe in Jesus and you want eternal life, God has a simple way for you to receive it.

GOD'S FOUR STEP PLAN FOR SALVATION

Step 1. You must know that you have sinned and because of this, you fall short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23). You must also understand that you are not righteous (Romans 3:10).

Step 2. You must understand that the result of your sin is death, but God wants you to have eternal life (Romans 6:23).

Step 3. You must believe that Christ died for your sins (Romans 5:8).

Step 4. You must confess verbally that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9-10).

SAVED BY GRACE AND ETERNAL SECURITY

It is very important to understand that salvation is received through faith alone in Jesus Christ and you cannot trust in your own righteousness or good works (Ephesians 2:8-9). It is also essential that you know that once you are saved you are always saved, nothing can take away your salvation or separate you from the love of Jesus Christ (John 6:37). These foundational beliefs are the true meaning of faith in Jesus Christ and without them there is no salvation or chance of eternal life. If you believe in Jesus and want to become God’s child, pray for Jesus to come into your life.

GET SAVED NOW

“Dear God, I know I am a sinner. But I want you to know that I am sorry and I believe Jesus is your Son. I believe Jesus came to earth and died for my sins. I believe that you raised Him to life and I know Jesus now sits at your right hand to make intercession for me. I accept the sacrifice Jesus made as payment for my sins and I want Jesus to be my Lord and to save me. Please God let me receive Jesus and give me your Holy Spirit, open my eyes to your wisdom through reading the Bible. Help me to understand your words and guide me towards your purpose. Thank you Father, I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.”

STUDY THE BIBLE

The Bible is God’s inspired word (2 Timothy 3:16). Reading the word of God gives you understanding of God’s character and reading the Bible helps you to have a better relationship with Him. Once saved by the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ we are born again as children of God (John 1:12), but the only way we grow as Christians is by studying the Bible and the life of Jesus Christ.
