THE KING JAMES BIBLE: GOD'S PURE WORD
INTRODUCTION
Today's sermon is a part of the exposing Satan series, and I would like to start by reading a scripture from the book of (Psalm 12:6-7) The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
The title of my sermon is the King James Bible: God’s pure word in English, and the purpose of this sermon is to show you that the King James Bible translation, is the perfectly preserved words of God in the English language. In this sermon I will show you the dramatic differences between the King James Bible, and the newer more modern English translations. I will prove beyond any reasonable doubt, that these modern Bibles are not only incorrectly translated, but are actually part of a satanic conspiracy to corrupt and pervert Bible doctrine, and to destroy the power of God’s Holy Word. I will explain the origins and history of the manuscripts used to translate modern Bible versions, such as the New International Version, English Standard Version, the New Living Translation, the New King James and the Good News Bible. I will also detail the history and translation of the original and correct manuscripts, that preserved the Holy scriptures throughout all generation, as spoken of in (Psalm 12:6-7) that we now read today in our King James Bible.
BIBLE HISTORY
The first thing I would like to do, is explain the history, and origin of the manuscripts that were used, in order to translate the original writings of the Bible, into the King James English version. From the time of Christ, the disciples and other witnesses, began to record the historical events that we read about in the Bible, the original Gospels, epistles, and other books were written in Greek, and these writings are what we know as the New Testament. The disciples, and other witnesses were spreading the Gospel all over the world, and many copies of these original writings were produced. Shortly thereafter, persecution against Christianity arose, and for the next thousand or so years, the authorities killed Christians, and destroyed many of these copies of the original scriptures. However the New Testament scriptures survived, and many faithful followers of Christ, began to make more and more copies in order to preserve God’s word.
GREEK TO ENGLISH
Around the time of the 1500’s the persecution of the Church began to settle, and Christians from all over the world began to gather the copies of the original Greek New Testament manuscripts, to compare them, and translate them into the new global language which was English. Now keep in mind that writers of these copies, had never seen each other, or communicated in any way. During this time in the 1500s over five thousand copies of the scriptures, and generations of copying the original Greek scriptures were brought together, from all over the world for comparison. And amazingly when compared they not only agreed with each other doctrinally, but were identical in everything except for the spelling of certain words and names. When these copies in different languages from all over the world were compared, it was seen that they were all in agreeance, and it was clear that God’s word had been preserved. And it was apparent to all involved that this was a miracle of God, and that He had truly preserved His words for future generations. The Bible says in (Isaiah 14:27) For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?
THE RECEIVED TEXT
In the early 1500s a master scholar and wise theologian named Erasmus of Rotterdam, gathered many of the preserved and recovered manuscripts and translated them from their written languages, into a complete modern Greek language New Testament writing, that became known as the Textus Receptus (or received text), also known as the Majority text, which was published in 1516. In the year 1534, a man named William Tyndale, took the work of Erasmus, and translated the Greek Textus Receptus into the first English New Testament. Tyndale then spent the rest of his life, translating the Hebrew Old Testament manuscripts into English, but was arrested in and put to death in October 1536. However his writings survived, and with both Old and New Testament scriptures translated into English, a man named Miles Coverdale finished the work which Tyndale started, and produced what is known as the Coverdale Bible, which is essentially the first English translation of the entire Bible both Old and New Testament. After the Coverdale Bible was published, other English versions were produced, such as the Matthews Bible, the Bishops Bible, and the Geneva Bible but they all were translated from the Greek Textu Receptus, and Tyndale’s translation of the Old Testament.
KING JAMES
In the year 1603 a man named King James the sixth of Scotland, took the throne of England, and authorized a gathering of the best scholars in world to get together, and perfect the English translation of the Holy Bible, based on the Textus Receptus, and the Hebrew translation of William Tyndale. So from the year 1604 to 1610, the King James Version was translated from the Greek and Hebrew, by 54 of the greatest scholars that existed of that time, and possible to ever exist. Just to give you an example of the wisdom possessed by these scholars, just one man chosen for this task, was an expert at Latin, Greek, Hebrew, Chaldean, and Arabic, and he also spoke 15 other modern languages. But this is just one man that took part in translating the King James Bible, over a seven and a half year period. Over this time, these 54 scholars divided themselves into six groups, and worked together within their individual groups, and at the end of their work they compared their work, to evaluate their conclusions in translation and scholarship. As a result every passage of scripture was evaluated 15 times, and in conclusion, all 54 scholars agreed with the result of the translation, based on the correct verbal dynamic which they had achieved. In the year 1611, the official King James Bible was published, and in the year 1612 the King James hand held New Testament was made available to the world. Finally In the Year 1769, a revision was made, in which chapters and verse numbers were added to make it easier for the reader to study God’s Holy Word. this is a short summery of the history and origins of the True Word of God, the King James version, and I would like to emphasize the importance, of the fact that the King James Bible, and the ones preceding it, were translated from the original surviving manuscripts, which were the scriptures known as the Texust Receptus or Majority text, that were preserved from the time of Christ until this very day. The Bible says in (1 Peter 5:8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
THE CORRUPTION OF GOD'S WORD
Most Christians are completely unaware that modern English Bible versions, including the N.I.V, E.S.V, N.LT, New King James, and all other modern English Bibles, are not translated from the Textus Receptus, but are actually translated from the multiplication of three totally different manuscripts, but all three of these manuscripts originate from what is known as the Alexandrian text, which was written by a cult of people, known as the Alexandrians that arose around 240 years after Jesus Christ. This cult was lead by a man named Origin, and the Alexandrians wrote their own Bible version, and were responsible for making over six thousand changes, to the original scriptures to support the false doctrines of their cult. I would like to point out that the Alexandrians did not believe in the deity of Christ, and many other fundamental Christian doctrines, and they could be compared to today’s religion of the Jehovah’s witnesses. The Alexandrians made many copies of their false Bible version, and three survived, and were later found. One copy of the Alexandrian text was found in the Vatican Library, and is called Codex Vaticanus, another was found in Alexandria Egypt, and is called Alexandrius, and the third was found in a monastery in the Sinia Pernisula, and is called Codex Sinaiticus.
WESTCOTT AND HORT
Now I would like to note that these three scrolls found that originated from the Alexandrian text, doctrinally did not agree with one and other, and they certainly did not agree with the Textus Receptus. Regardless of this fact however, a group of Catholic monks translated these scrolls into Latin, and this translation became known as the Latin Valgate. From this the Catholic Church translated the Latin Vulgate into English, and produced the Catholic Douray Rheims Bible, which is still the official Catholic Bible used today. Around the year 1853 two men, Greek scholars, named Westcott and Hort, believing the Alexandrian text to be Older, and more reliable, began to translate the Alexandrian Texts into modern Greek, and in 1875 completed their work which became known as the Wescott and Hort Greek Translation of the New Testament. Westcott and Hort, who themselves were not Christians, then Sold their completed work as the Oldest and best manuscripts available to be translated into the English language. In 1881 The Revised Version Bible was produced, from the Westcott and Hort Greek Translation, followed by the American Standard Version. Then came the Revised Standard Version, and in 1950 The New World Translation, which is the Jehovah’s Witness Bible was produced, and this was also translated from the Westcott and Hort Greek Translation. In 1960 the New American Standard was released, followed by the more modern Versions such as the N.I.V, E.S.V Good News Translation and New King James, which are all English translations of the Westcott and Hort Greek manuscript.
REAL WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING
Now the Bible says in the Book of (Proverbs 3:13-15) Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
The purpose of this sermon is to give you understanding of God’s word, and wisdom in regards to the origins of the scriptures that we trust in, so now that I have explained that the King James Bible was translated from the manuscripts known as the Textus Receptus, also known as the majority text, and that the newer English translations, are translated from the Alexandrian text, or Westcott and Hort translation, we must look at the vast differences found in the modern versions, compared to the King James. I believe that by showing even a few of these differences, it will be plain to see that the New versions translated from the Westcott and Hort manuscripts, are a satanic conspiracy to corrupt and pervert Bible doctrine, and to destroy the power of God’s Holy Word. I also strongly believe that these Bible versions and their content, will be used to deceive Bible readers into receiving the New World Order, and the Antichrist himself. The Bible says in (1 John 4:1) Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
I would like to invite you as a Christian to do what this scripture says. Please listen to this part of the sermon carefully, and decide for your selves if the spirit of God is in these modern Bibles version translated, from the Westcott and Hort translation of the Alexandrian Text. I would like to start by saying that the First Bible translation I ever read in its entirety was the E.S.V, and I also read much of the N.I.V, and Good News Translation. When reading and studying them I immediately saw there were slight variations and differences, which at first did not seem problematic, but as I studied more and grew as a Christian, I learned that that one different word, can make a scripture mean something completely different, and change the entire meaning of the Bible itself.
In fact one of the most disturbing examples of this concept is found in both the E.S.V and the N.I.V, where both translations have removed only one word spoken by Jesus Christ, and by doing so, have destroyed the whole Gospel of Salvation, and the entire truth of God’s Word. Allow me to explain. The Bible describes in the Book of John chapter 7, a conversation between Jesus and his brothers, in which the brothers of Jesus are urging Jesus, to go to a Jewish feast.
The Word of God from the K.J.V says in the book of (John 7:3-10) His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest. For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world. For neither did his brethren believe in him. Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready. The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come. When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee. But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.
E.S.V AND N.I.V BLASPHEMY
Now the E.S.V and the N.I.V, record this same exact story but have removed the word yet, from John chapter 7 verse 8, the E.S.V Reads in (John 7:8) You go up to the feast. I am not going up to this feast, for my time has not yet fully come. Now seeing that it is recorded in the N.I.V and the E.S.V that Jesus did later go up to this feast, the N.I.V and the E.S.V’s removal of the word yet, is describing Jesus actually lying to his brothers, which is not only blasphemy, but it also totally compromises the entire Gospel of Salvation and the salvation of every Christian.
Because Christian salvation depends upon the belief in the Gospel, and that the Gospel depends on the fact that Jesus lived a sinless life, and died a perfect man which fulfilled the law, the Gospel allows us to be forgiven of our sin and receive eternal life. Both the N.I.V and the E.S.V, through the removal of one word have made null and void the entire Gospel of our Salvation, and in particular the scriptures found in (Hebrews 4:15) For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. And also (1 John 3:4-5) Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
NEW WORLD ORDER BIBLES
When I personally noticed this one difference it was enough for me to realize that these so called Bibles, were not at all God’s Word, I knew that God’s word was perfect, and would never insinuate that Jesus was any different. Now for some, this could be seen as a minor point, and not worthy of completely discarding these translations, but unfortunately I found many other things within these versions, that were even more disturbing than this. I will give you one last example of a difference in translation, and briefly explain how this specific difference, alongside many others, will play a role in bringing in the one world religion, where the Antichrist will be worshipped as a counterfeit Jesus Christ. The Word of God says in the King James Bible in the book of (Revelation 22:16) I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
So as you can see the Bible calls Jesus the Morning Star. The N.I.V and E.S.V also call Jesus the Morning Star in (Revelation 22:16). Now in the Old Testament book of Isaiah, there is a description of Satan falling from Heaven, and in this verse Satan is referred to as Lucifer, son of the morning, I would also like to add, that this is the only verse in the entire Bible that gives Satan this title of Lucifer, son of the morning. It says in the King James Version in the book of (Isaiah 14:12) How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! However when we read this verse (Isaiah 14:12) in in E.S.V and the N.I.V, the title of Lucifer son of the Morning is taken away, and replaced with the title Morning Star that belongs to Jesus Christ, and is recorded in (Revelation 22:16). In fact the N.I.V. says in (Isaiah 14:12) How you have fallen from heaven morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth you who once laid low the nations.
So to clarify the point that I am trying to illustrate, the N.I.V and other so called Bibles translated from the Westcott and Hort Alexandrian texts, have taken away Satan’s name before he fell from heaven, which was Lucifer, and have replaced it with the title given to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who will one day return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. In short, these corrupt Bible translations are attacking the perfection of Jesus Christ, and are attempting to replace the deity of Christ, with Lucifer, and to deceive the world into believing that Jesus and Satan are one in the same. These corrupt versions, have also tampered with specific verses in the Bible, that effect Bible prophecy, and would lead the reader to believe that the second coming of Jesus Christ, will take place before the man of sin, that we know as the Antichrist. This deliberate corruption of the scriptures, will undoubtedly be used by the False Prophet in the great end times falling away period, to deceive the unsaved readers of these Bibles, into worshipping Lucifer in the form of the Antichrist, but This should not come as a shock because the Bible warns us in (2 Corinthians 11:14) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Now I believe that I have clearly shown that these so called Bibles translated from the Westcott and Hort Greek translation, have both attempted to replace Jesus with Satan, and call Christ a liar, but I would also like to note that many of these translations have also removed hundreds of passages of scripture, and replaced them with footnotes that further changes and corrupts God’s word. The Bible says in (psalm 12:7) that God’s words would be preserved throughout all generations, and I would like to make a strong point, that the Manuscripts known as the Majority text or Textus Receptus, were indeed preserved throughout generations of bloody persecution, and it is literally a miracle that we are able to hold in our hand today, God’s perfect and pure Word translated from these manuscripts, which became the King James Bible.
One only has to read the King James Version, and it will become so clear that it is indeed perfect and God’s gift to the English speaking world. Literally millions of people have been murdered since the time of Christ for reading, teaching, and making copies of the books, that were translated into the Textus Receptus which gave us the King James Bible, so I beg you don’t let the deaths of those millions be in vain, and more importantly, don’t let the death burial and resurrection of our Saviour Jesus Christ be in Vain in your life, read God’s Perfectly preserved word, which is the King James Bible. I would like to conclude today's sermon with one final scripture, from the book of (Hebrews 4:12) For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
